Ike was originally imported from Germany through Canada. Ike and his K-9 Handler, Officer Brian Gaunt, have been certified through the OPCA as a pa- trol K-9 team and recently completed a 400-hour (10-

week) basic patrol K-9 course.

Last night was Officer Gaunt’s and K9 Ike’s last night on the road together. This team started together in 2013 and had 99 career captures. Officer Gaunt will soon be Sergeant Gaunt and Ike will be enjoying retirement. Congratulations to both of them in their new roles.
